An enormous gorilla escapes from a ship off the coast of South Korea and begins a destructive rampage across the countryside, drawing the attention of the U.S. military and a curious reporter. Meanwhile, an American actress filming on location finds herself drawn into the chaos as the creature's path grows more erratic and dangerous. Shot in 3-D and released in 1976, this Korean-American co-production features ambitious effects and satirical nods to more famous monster fare of the era.
