A mortician, John Bradley, lives and works out of his large home with his chilly wife, Martha, and their daughter, Susan. While John stays focused on his business, Martha carries on an affair and hatches a plan with someone close to the family to cash in on life insurance. Susan, who keeps tarantulas and prefers their company to most people, discovers what’s being plotted. When Susan decides she’s had enough of betrayal, she turns her spiders into a very personal form of payback and aims them at anyone who threatens her father.
